St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is a Christian community committed to loving our neighbors, telling the truth, and standing with people who are too often targeted or excluded. Our faith in Jesus leads us to affirm LGBTQ+ people, support the dignity and agency of women, and walk alongside those on the margins. No campaign of fear, bullying, or misinformation will turn us away from that calling.

The recent attacks on our church aren't honest disagreements. They rely on misinformation and on dehumanizing language about our congregation and the people we serve. Research and public safety reporting show this kind of targeting can fuel harassment, deepen division, and even lead to violence against houses of worship and vulnerable neighbors. It puts real people at risk, and as Christians, we have a responsibility to say clearly that words have consequences, and that targeting any faith community in this way is wrong.

We will not be intimidated or shamed out of our ministries, and we will not stand alone. We invite other congregations and faith leaders to join us in rejecting this rhetoric, and in modeling a better Christian witness rooted in love, truth, and justice.
